Why Attraction Marketing Makes Life Easy

By Steve Anderson On March 2, 2009 Under Attraction Marketing, Steve's Corner

With the pending release of Ann Sieg’s Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto, I have been pondering the topic of attraction marketing and what it actually is.

Attraction marketing is a new catch phrase in the network marketing industry but at the end of the day, all marketing is just a way to attract someone’s attention to your message, nothing more and nothing less.

There are other dynamics that come into play when combining marketing with the network marketing industry and I feel that “attraction marketing” has more significance when used in this way.

The way I see it, although having a strong customer base for your mlm product is important, the end goal of a network marketing business is to build an organization of productive distributors in order to build a residual income. In this case we are marketing ourselves and using our knowledge as the “attraction factor”. This is a different process than attracting people to a product with the end goal of making a purchase.

People want to work with someone or a group that can help them get to where they want to go and if you can display this quality through the content that you provide, then naturally people will be attracted to working with you.

A Good Example of Attraction Marketing

In this video below, I give the example of working on the launch of Ann Sieg’s Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto in my office all day and ironically, I had a guy call me after finding this website. He followed a link to The Renegade University where he signed up for a free membership and then found my phone number there.

When you have prospects tracking you down like this, it’s a whole new dynamic in prospecting and once you get used to it, you’ll never want to go back to cold calling third party mlm leads again.

I hope you enjoy this short video.

So that’s my little rave for the day.

Attraction Marketing Works

I have been running my own acupuncture business for around 8 years. I have never advertised because people just come. When they call me for an appointment, I don’t have to sell them on the concept because they are well and truly pre-sold on the idea that I’m the one that can help them achieve what they want…good health.

What if people viewed you in the same way with your network marketing business? Can you imagine what it would be like if people called you with the expectation that you were the one to help them towards reaching their goal of financial and time freedom?

This is ultimately what I feel attraction marketing can do for you in your network marketing business. Ann Sieg’s Attraction Marketing Manifesto will give you tremendous insight into how this process works.

  • Hi Mark,

I have Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring, Building On A Budget, Black Belt Recruiting and PPC Domination. Each of these products I felt were enormously valuable and taught me a lot.

I must admit that I am unfamiliar with Brian Fanale so I can't comment there.

At the end of the day it's probably less about the programs and more about what we do with them. I truly believe that each teacher has something of value to offer and really it's more about which teacher one resonates with most, which teacher inspires one to "just do it". That's why I learn from anyone and everyone who seems credible.

I just happened to stumble upon Ann Sieg a number of years ago and she has personally be a wonderful mentor and a very caring friend...that's the kind of role model that I like to follow.

What Mike Klingler and Ann Sieg have done by coming together to create a training site is allow people who wish to marketing using attraction marketing and leading with a funded proposal is add the element of continuity...

I know Mike Dillard has his Magnetic Sponsoring Newsletter which is a monthly subscription and so there is that possibility of recurring income although I feel that people most of all need step-by-step training and someone to guide them through it and that is what I can see as the difference out of these.

Having said that someone leading with Magnetic Sponsoring as there funded proposal frontend offer could still refer them to the Renegade Professional training and so it's really a matter of preference at the end of the day.

What sort of a continuity and training program does Brian Fanale have?

Sorry about the long answer, but it's a great question that I guess warrants it.

    Thanks for stopping by :)
  • So, I've seen what Dillard offers and I see what Brian Fanale offers, but what makes this program different than the others?

    Just curious.
  • Hey Steve,

Thanks for sharing your story illustrating the real-life benefits of attracting people to you who have a genuine interest in the same ideas and goals. Fun!

Keep up the great (and inspiring) work!

    Lisa

P.S. My theory on mosquitoes, spiders, and bugs is that they come to us when they are ready to transition to the next life. So good on you for helping that mosquito move up the chain! (But look out for the snake under your bed!)
