Webprosperity – Video Hosting Solution?

By Steve Anderson On January 1, 2009 Under Video Marketing

Today I came across the webproserity system that is due to launch on January 6th, 2009. The thing that caught my interest straight away was the video hosting and video player feature. I’ve been hunting around for a way to put video on my blog for a while now.

Why not use Youtube Videos you may ask?

Well I don’t really like the fact that once people have finished watching my videos they get the videos of other people and often they will browse away from my website. Youtube and the other social video platforms are very handy as a marketing tool but for my websites I’m looking for a cleaner and more professional solution.

Traffic Geyser is one solution as they have recently added a pretty cool flash player that you can even add YouTube videos to without the other videos and the dreaded search bar coming up. That costs $147 per month which is a little on the high side.

Amazon S3 was another option that I looked into and they have reasonable prices but it is a bit difficult to manage your media. For $20 a month I could use the EZS3 sevice which creates video players for you and it is as easy as copying and pasting some code into your blog to embed your video (that appeals to me).

I had pretty much settled on the Amazon route but was still considering if Traffic Geyser wouldn’t be the best option.

It seems like Webprosperity will do the job very easily and for less money. There is a whole lot more that comes with the Webprosperity Suite that could potentially save a lot of money for the average Internet Marketer. Here is a Hubpage that covers the Webprosperity system in more detail…
