Google Switch – Have You Flipped It Yet?
What’s the best way to get people to promote your stuff for you even when they know they are not going to earn a single penny for doing so?
Easy – provide incredibly valuable, entertaining, and enlightening information for free.
Today I got an email from Jim Yahgi, here it is;
hey
i just uploaded this for you. too tired to talk but way more excited. it’s all Free – make sure you get the
red Swipe file too which makes the thing all work 1)2)3):

Typical of Jim’s emails; short, no attention to grammar, and very casual. The thing is I always enjoy reading Jim’s writing so of course I was going to click through and find out what he was up to, in fact just being on Jim Yahgi’s email list is a lesson in good email marketing. Anyway back to the how to get people to promote your stuff story…
Together with David Schwind, Jim wrote and ebook called The Google Switch and it was a bloody rippa. Long but no fluff, all good information — useful information. Like most ebooks it leads somewhere, this one leads to a page where you can register for some videos which are said to be good (haven’t seen yet), the end destination is a PPC course that they are putting together.
But do you know what the cool thing is – I feel compelled to share this ebook with my list and blog about it because it’s really really good, plain and simple. I don’t even know if there is an affiliate program attached to it and frankly I don’t care.
If you like marketing than I reckon you’ll like this ebook and chances are you will share it with your peeps because you know they will enjoy it to.
Once you read The Google Switch you’ll know why these sort of reports go viral so easily.
In the report they talk about many different ways to generate traffic from Google, love to hear what the biggest aha was for you. Mine was the way Search Marketing can have a massive impact on everything else you do on the ‘net, it was so simple it was like the 2nd Google slap for me!
