Extracting Videos From Your Brightcove Account
I’ve had quite a number of videos on Brightcove for well over a year now. Once I learned to navigate around their dashboard, I found them to be excellent. What I really liked was the quality of their videos. Unfortunately Brightcove made the decision to take away the free video hosting component as of December 17, 2008.
This can be a bit of a pain if you have your Brightcove videos embedded on blogs and websites. It was something I was putting off but today I decided I had better get it done before it was too late.
I was surprised how easy the process actually was . I made a video so that other people could see how it’s done.
If you have videos hosted on Brightcove then you can download the Brightcove Video Extractor Tool, save your videos to your computer and then upload the files to screencast.com.
