Ann Sieg’s Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto Report
It has nearly been 2 years since Ann Sieg released her Renegade Network Marketer system and the free 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing eBook.
Since that time, a very strong trend towards people building their network marketing businesses using the Internet and the principles of Attraction Marketing as taught in her Renegade Network Marketer eBook.
Recently Ann Sieg another free report and this time it was on the topic of attraction marketing. You can read my review of The Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto by Ann Sieg on my blog to see how it can help you in building your mlm business.
There are a couple of approaches to using the Internet to build a business, one is definitely not attractive (to the visitors and Google) and the other is very attractive. Let’s take a look at these two very different approaches.
1. Spamming The Search Engines
The first way to use the Internet is to spam everyone on sight. This is basically taking “some” of the old school network marketing strategies (telling everyone in sight how good your opportunity is) and apply it to the Internet.
The results of this are catastrophic because the Internet allows people to leverage their message whether good or bad, and this case the reputation of network marketing is further tarnished.
You’ve probably experienced it yourself; perhaps some joker sending a no holds barred pitch video to your Youtube account, getting repeated shouts through Digg, nothing but sales page pitches through twitter, and so on.
I remember getting an email from a prospect I had generated through the Internet and it was basically a message in big red bold font pitching the launch of her new company. Guess I missed out on that once in a life time opportunity.
You can get fairly creative using the Internet to create a web of information garbage;
- there are tools out there that will mass replicate sites for you creating back links to your money site
- stuffing keywords in your tags box for videos and articles
- setting up blogs that just scrap content of the web and mash it together
- sending out the same video numerous times to all the video sites
- and on and on it goes…
For the user searching for something this is totally frustrating; who wants to click on multiple listings before actually finding a page that presents useful content on the subject your were searching for?
These kind of tactics are very short sighted and ultimately Google will catch these people out and their web of junk will be relegated to the Google Sandbox never to see the light of day again (as it should be).
This basically is just bad for all concerned and really adds very little value to the Internet and peoples lives. This is probably the worst example marketing and is the antithesis of Attraction Marketing.
2. Providing Valuable Content
There is probably not a lot more to add as the heading is self explanatory. Providing people with solutions to problems they are experiencing is the most attractive thing you can do in your marketing. Once people view you as an expert or an authority, (notice the author in authority) then the rest is history.
This not only keeps Google happy but it keeps the people searching for information happy. If you can do this Google will reward you with a constant stream of free traffic.
The first thing you need to do is workout what people are looking for and then assess if there is room for you in the market. This basically boils down to good keyword research and is actually quite scientific.
For example, I sell physical products through an e-commerce store and for me to go into a market, I have a strict set of criteria or parameters that I stick to. If I find a keyword phrase it has to have at least 500 searches a day and no more than 150 000 competing sites.
Once I have established this, I then go on to check the top 10 competitors (top 10 in Google search results for that term). There must be at lest 1 competitor with less than 50 back links, and no more than one site with all of the 5 essential SEO factors in place:
- has the keyword phrase in the main url
- has the keyword phrase in the title
- has the keyword phrase in the description
- has the keyword phrase in the header tag
- and is listed in the Yahoo directory
If there is more than one site with all of these factors in place I know my chances of beating them are slim or at least it would be very hard work so I move on, plain and simple. There is no guess work involved, no intuitive feelings, just cold hard figures…that’s business.
The point I’m making here is no matter how good your content is, if the competition is too tough your content will never get seen and you’ll have wasted your time.
All this may sound a little complicated but actually, it’s very easy to do and once you get the hang of it, quite fun. It’s kind of like playing the slot machine, you just keep searching for an angle that you know you can win in Google.
Ann Sieg is about to release a new report that is totally dedicated to Attraction Marketing and the value of providing useful information. Her report is call The Attraction Marketers Manifesto and will be released on the 26th March, 2009.
The reason I mention this is because she has quite a handy flow chart of the network marketing niches that you might like to go after. It’s actually quite surprising how many angles their are in the network marketing niche and you can bet that many of them haven’t be mined much at all…yet.
Here’s a screenshot of the flow chart in this report (which is free by the way);
This alone will start to give you some excellent ideas about which niche you might like to create useful content for and start targeting those people searching for that exact information.
Ann Sieg also covers in great depth the different marketing channels that you can use to reach your niche or target market.
Here is a screenshot of that;
Unfortunately you won’t be able read this text on these images but on March 26th you can grab Ann Sieg’s latest report, The Attraction Marketers Manifesto and read it for yourself.
There are a lot of economists predicting an explosion in the home-based business niche as the corporate world becomes more volatile. It will be the people with quality information shared via the Internet that will be positioned to take advantage of what is being liken to a new gold rush era.
This free report by Ann Sieg, is a classic example of providing that kind of information. They say that there will basically be 2 kinds of people, those buying the information and those selling it…which one will you be?
You can grab Ann Sieg’s Attraction Marketer’s Manifesto for free and get started with attraction marketing right away.
Oh, and speaking of valuable information, I plan on doing a video series on how I identify winnable niches using keyword tools in the near future, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed so you don’t miss that one
