A Light Bulb Goes Off In Ann Sieg’s Head…

And Her Marketing Machine Starts To Crank

There is a great saying;

‘Bright Ideas Are a Dime a Dozen but Those Who Implement Them Are Rare Indeed’.

As we will see, Ann Sieg had a very bright idea and she went on to implement it with amazing precision which lead to results that only most people dream about.

Obviously Ann Sieg had honed her sales skills and was certainly operating at a very professional level.

She was seeing consistent results but as mentioned before, her downline was floundering as a result of NOT having access to the excellent Pre-Qualified mlm Leads that she had access to.

Another problem with working these mlm leads was that it meant sending out an informational CD and a brochure by mail. This cost time and money with no guarantee that these prospects were really interested in what she was offering.

There had to be a more effective way…

It was now time for Ann Sieg to turn her attention to marketing and figure out how to make this a more profitable and efficient process.

Any marketing campaign always starts with identifying a problem and a need in the market place and then targeting the people with that particular problem.

Ann Sieg choose to address the needs of the struggling and frustrated mlmers. This was a market that she could easily identify with as she had spent so many years in that situation personally.

You will often hear that the most important thing to brand is yourself (rather than your mlm products or opportunity) and that is exactly what Ann Sieg did.

She called her organization Ann Sieg Consulting and had a website built around this brand.

The next thing to do was generate Pre-Qualified mlm Leads and lots of them, here is what happened…

As mentioned, Ann Sieg’s method of working mlm leads was inefficient from a standpoint of time, money, and energy. It was in relation to this situation that the Light Bulb Switched On in Ann Sieg’s Head.

She came up with a way to turn this situation completely upside down.

The mlm sales and marketing training company Ann Sieg was representing at the time had a retail product, a mlm training course that consisted of a book and a CD.

Ann Sieg decided that if she could retail that course she would not only get the profits from the retail sale but would also get a very qualified mlm lead at the same time and so that is exactly what she did…

This meant that instead of Ann Sieg having to pay to send information to prospects, they would actually pay her for the information and pay for the postage.

In addition to this, these customers would become a pre-qualified prospect she or her team could follow up with and offer additional related products and services.

The course was part of the solution but subscribing to the more comprehensive mlm training provided by Ann Sieg’s mlm company could be offered as a follow on sale.

The other thing that would happen quite naturally was that some customers would make Ann Sieg’s mlm company part of their overall business portfolio and promote it as a secondary mlm opportunity in combination with their existing mlm business.

Talk about win/win!

She put together a sales page that identified very strongly with the frustrations and pain that people in the mlm industry were feeling and then offered a solution with this mlm training course.

Ann Sieg launched the sales page and for a day or two nothing happened, a few minor tweaks here and there and all of a sudden sales started to trickle in.

Over time that trickle became a torrent that was so strong her team or company couldn’t handle the volume.

On the sales page there was a, ‘Request a Free Consultation’ form. The people that filled out that form would naturally be followed up by Ann Sieg or one of her team members from ‘Ann Sieg Consulting’.

This is how I first meet Ann Sieg a number of years ago and I still vividly remember that sales page; the layout, the picture of Ann Sieg on that page, and the headline. It was a marketing masterpiece and pulled like crazy, day and night all over the globe!

That sales page was very long and compelling reading. I took a couple of reads before I hit the buy button. I had to call Ann’s office because my credit card wouldn’t process as I was in Australia.

I actually spoke with Ann and I still remember that conversation (she sure didn’t have to sell me anything, I was already well and truly sold by the time I spoke to her).

I purchased that mlm training course and requested a consultation however I had already joined Ann Sieg’s mlm company training by the time one of her consultants called me.

This is the true power of marketing!

Let’s put it in perspective…

I went to Ann Sieg’s sales page, purchased a course (which she made a profit on) and became a lead for one of her team members.

She then went on to make a monthly commission on my subscription to the mlm training (which made me her retail customer) and within a short time I was asking Ann Sieg if I could work with her!

This is information marketing at its very best. Ann Sieg was essentially generating leads for her team while generating immediate cash flow for her business, now that is a smart way to operate.

You can pretty much guess that Ann Sieg didn’t buy a Red Ferrari and go on a holiday with that cash flow. She reinvested that money into her business and then things started to take a whole new turn.
