Welcome to step 4 of the Renegade Guide. This guide is designed so that you can follow and implement the steps as you go.

At the end of this 8 step series you will have a marketing system in place which will allow you to effectively promote The Renegade Network Marketer.

Once you have been through this series of steps, you will be able to replicate the process and apply it to your own mlm product.

In the previous steps you registered a domain with Go Daddy, opened a Web Hosting account with Host Gator, and redirected the name servers. You can now go on and set up email accounts in your website through Cpanel.

It is always good to have an email address with the same address as your website as this gives the potential customer the impression that they are dealing with a professional business person. The typical free email addresses you get do not give this impression in general.

This the 5th step of the 8 step Renegade Guide. This is the part of the process where your marketing system starts to become automated.

When people first enter your marketing pipeline, they have still not shown that they are deserving of your precious time. It is only when they ask for information do you want to be talking with these people in person.

Your marketing system should segment the people that are deserving of your time and the people that are not.  A major part of this system is an autoresponder.

The first autoresponder sequence has two purposes;

1. To inform people about making a purchase of your mlm product
2. To encourage people to visit your home-business site

Once a person visits you home-business site they will hopefully ask for more information by opting-in to The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing. This is where your second autoresponder series comes into play. This series is going to help your prospect to make an informed buying decision for The Renegade Network Marketer.

It is virtually impossible to do all of this manually and so an autoresponder will definitely be required. I have tried two different autoresponders, GetResponse and Aweber.

My choice is Aweber but either one will do the job fine. Aweber has one of the best reputations in the industry for deliverability.

This is step 6 of the guide and now you are getting very close to having your system in place.

If you are going to build a mailing list around your product, you will need to offer potential customers a free report, or something of value in order for them to give you their email address, name, and permission to correspond to with them.

Of course for The Renegade Network Marketer the free report that you will be offering is The 7 Great Lies Of Network Marketing.

The page where you tell this person what it is you are going to give them is called a squeeze page. It is a very simple page where you describe to the person what they are going to get. I have heard it called an ethical bribe. If the content of what you are offer is of value, it is a pretty good deal. The person can unsubscribe from your list at anytime and so they haven’t got a lot to lose. This is often the very first stage in the sales process.

The Renegade Network Marketer System gives you your own landing pages but I prefer to use my own because this way I am building my own mailing list and not the mailing list of 80/20 Marketing. You see, when people opt-in to the landing page through the Renegade System, they are not opting-in to your list, but to 80/20 Marketing mailing list.

Of course the 80/20 Marketing Group does a great job of sending out follow-up email to encourage prospects to take the next step and buy The Renegade Network Marketer but I prefer the freedom to offer my list of prospects other things as well. They may not be interested in The Renegade Network Marketer but we do know they are interested in MLM and so we can promote other materials related to this industry.

I use Mathew Glanfields, YourSqueezePage to create all of my landing pages. As part of this course, I give away the codes to the landing pages that I use so that people can have their landing pages up and functional for The Renegade Network Marketer in a very short time.

Once you have your Renegade Marketing System in place, I recommend creating a free report based around your products and setting up your own autoresponder and landing pages. If you promote a product that is effective for skin problems, you would create a report about good skin care. Then you would write a follow-up email series for your product, create a squeeze page and start driving traffic to that site.

Here we are at step 7 of the guide that is going to help you implement the stratergies outlined in The Renegade Network Marketer by Ann Sieg.

You should have your autoresponder set up, you will have squeeze pages in place, and now you will need to to load the free report that you are going to offer people to your web server.

This is a very simple process and requires you to do a little FTP work. FTP is nothing fancy, it simply means File Transfer Protocol. It is the process of transferring files from your PC to your web server.

I use FileZilla which is a free FTP client and very easy to use. Here is a video showing you how to upload files to your web server.

This is the last step of the marketing process that I teach people to implement. There is going to be tips and tricks continually added to this site and so you may want to subscribe to the RSS feed for this site.

The last step is not essential however, if you are going to be showing other people who buy The Renegade Network Marketer from you how to be set up their system, you will need to install a blog to do this. This is free to do and very, very simple.

For the people that are working with me, I give them a generic version of this video series to embed on to their own blog. This means you will be able to add your own personal details on the front and end of the video tutorials. This will mean that your prospects are coming to your site for training and this is definitely what you want.

This video series is in 2 parts because it was too long to put in one. Once you have installed your blog, there are a few tweaks that you are going to need to make so that it is search engine optimized. This again should be easy if you have been through the previous steps of this course. I highly recommend doing all of the SEO modules before you start putting content on your blog. It really doesn’t take a lot of time.

This is step 3 in the 8 step series in setting up your marketing system. At the end of this 8 step course, people who purchased The Renegade Network Marketer will be able to set up a training blog for their Renegade prospects with this exact training series.

In the first step you purchased a domain name through Go Daddy. The 2nd step was to create a web hosting account with Host Gator.

Once you have completed these first 2 steps, you will need to redirect the name servers so that your URL will point to your web hosting. It is very easy to do and this next video will take you step by step through the process.

Web hosting is step 2 in the Renegade Guide. The way I recommend people promote The Renegade Network Marketer is off the back of mlm retail sales.

This will mean either 2 blogs or 2 websites. One site is for attracting retail customers for your mlm product and the other site is a home-business consulting site. The aim is to have your retail customers visit that site to learn more about you as a business person.

This is what I call allowing you marketing system to segment the interested prospects from the lookers.

For this reason it is wise to choose a web hosting service that has unlimited domain name hosting.

My web host of choice is Host Gator. At a very reasonable price of $9.95 per month you get unlimited domain name hosting and a huge amount of disk space. The other feature I like about Host Gator is the Cpanel that comes with the hosting plan.

This Renegade Guide will be dealing mostly with Cpanel and so I would highly recommend a service that has this. Here is a video that is going to show you the process of getting a web hosting account.

This guide is designed to be followed and implemented as you go along. It is made specifically for people that have purchased The Renegade Network Marketer but could be used by anyone regardless of whether they are promoting Ann Sieg’s Renegade System. This is the basic model that many Internet marketers use with great success.

This is the first of an 8 step series, by the end you will have a complete marketing system in place. The very first step is purchasing a domain name, I recommend using Go Daddy.

The first domain name that you buy, if possible, should be your own name. The reason for this is because at the end of this series, I will show you how to install a .php script that is going to allow you to change your long, messy affiliate urls  into a clean,  short url  that will look like this;  yourname/recommends/affiliateproductname .

If you can get a URL with your name it will be able to be used to promote any product whether be an mlm product or something else unrelated to the mlm industry, the recommendation is coming from you. This will give you much more flexibility to promote a wide range of products. Your second domain name will be more keyword and niche focused.

The Easy Renegade Training Series

The Easy Renegade Guide was designed so that Renegade Network Marketers could easily put together a marketing system and get on with the job of marketing.
